CEREMONIES

Couples wishing to exchange vows in the garden may plan a weekday (M-Th) elopement for $2,000, with a maximum of twelve in attendance. These reservations of up to two hours allow the couple to take photographs in the garden and to toast their union. Waterperry will provide a place with restroom and mirrors to get ready for a first look.

CELEBRATIONS (seasonal)

April thru November

Guests staying with us have the option of reserving one of four beautiful spaces on Waterperry’s grounds for sit-down dinners or unseated cocktail & hors d’oeuvre events. Invited guests are welcome, with the total in attendance not exceeding the numbers listed below.

Choose from the following:

• Cocktails & Hors d’oeuvres in the gated garden for up to thirty | $2,500

This allows for set-up in and around the pool house or greenhouse and the freedom to wander and enjoy the entire garden. In the event of rain, guests are able to congregate in both of these covered spaces. For parties of more than eighteen, a portable restroom (in addition to use of the facilities in the pool house) is a must. Your caterer can help with this.

• Seated dinner in the garden near the greenhouse, weather permitting, for up to thirty |  $4,000

This works well as the area for the caterer’s tent is behind the greenhouse. Tables and chairs, and the extra restroom is not provided. Please see our Preferred Vendor List. This is a fair weather event only.

• Seated dinner in the greenhouse for up to twelve |  $2,000

The greenhouse makes for a lovely dinner setting among greenery and pretty lights. Generally advised for spring and fall months when the temperatures are comfortable. Table and chairs not included.

• Seated dinner under the pavilion in the Dinner Garden for up to twenty-six | $5,000

This selection features romantic lighting in a large stone and gravel garden filled with flowers. There is an eighteen foot-long table under the pavilion with eighteen chairs, as well as two round table beside the pavilion with market umbrellas and four chairs each for a total capacity of twenty-six. Space for the catering tent is nearby. There is no need to rent tables or chairs, but an additional restroom is required for parties of more than eighteen.

Please Note —

Out of respect for our neighbors, there is absolutely no amplified music allowed anywhere, and no drums or horns. Acoustic instruments may not number more than three.

All celebrations must come to an end by 10 pm, at which time the caterers will clean and pack up, leaving the property by 11 pm at the very latest.

Lastly, a reminder that all gates to the garden MUST BE CLOSED as well as the pool house doors and screens. This will prevent deer and other wildlife damage and insure that our magical garden stays beautiful. Thank you!
